puppy 1.14 released

A new release to implement a few requests from users. In particular, support for Ubuntu and for the USB accelerator firmware patch.

Since I no longer use a Topfield PVR, the changes in this release have not been tested. The changes are fairly simple, so I don't expect problems.

is it possible to update ftpd-topfield to use /dev/bus/usb as access to /proc/bus/usb is now depreciated.

puppy will connect when using -d /dev/bus/usb/002/002
but ftpd doesn't appear to have that option.

As I alluded to in the post, I have not used a Toppy for more than a year, since upgrading to a Beyonwiz PVR.

There are no plans for further puppy development. ftpd-topfield is based on puppy code, but it was developed and maintained by another developer. Please contact Steve Bennett (steveb at workware.net.au) about changes to ftpd-topfield.
