Brewing beer is fun, but like most hobbies, once you dip your toes in, you find that more equipment results in more fun and better results. In the case of brewing, temperature control is one of the most fundamental aspects.
I've been using a Grainfather for mash and boil steps and a hacked freezer with an Inkbird controller for fermentation and cold crash. For serving beer, I have a Keg King series 4 kegerator with Intertap taps.
Lately I've been looking at improving the fermentation stages. Ideally, I'd like to build a closed system capable of temperature controlled fermentation under pressure. While I am not too impressed with the Grainfather, iMake (the company that makes the Grainfather) have other products that seem interesting. At the moment, they are running a competition where you get to build your own wish list, so I picked a few items that might come in handy when it comes to mash, boil and fermentation.
